The Edinburg Center was among the sponsors for this year’s 45th Annual BABAT Conference, held at the DCU Center from October 16 -18, 2024.  A team of 10 BCBAs from the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), In Home Behavioral Services (IHBS), and Children’s Mental Health programs were on hand for the two-day event to connect with fellow professionals and exchange innovative ideas.

This year’s theme—collaboration—resonated deeply.  “At Edinburg, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.  We strive to provide comprehensive care by working closely across our various programs and building strong partnerships with other organizations and professionals,” said Patti Maguire, President and CEO of The Edinburg Center.  “This spirit of teamwork empowers us to fulfill our mission of helping individuals and families reach their full potential.”

The conference featured insightful speakers and engaging development seminars.  As a sponsor, The Edinburg Center had a booth at the event, attracting many visitors eager to learn more about the invaluable services the center offers.  Edinburg conference swag was also a hit, with attendees enjoying goodies like chip clips, pumpkin scoops, poppit key chains, stress balls, reusable cutlery, hand sanitizers, mini tote bags, sunglasses, sticky notes, lanyards, and pens.

Maguire noted that sponsoring conferences like BABAT provides an excellent opportunity to forge new connections and strengthen existing relationships.  “We look forward to leveraging these collaborations to enhance our services and continue making a positive impact in our community,” she said. “Thank you to everyone who attended the conference and visited us at our booth!  Together, we’re making strides toward a brighter future for those we serve.”
